Two paid parking facilities are open 24 hours per day, 365 days a year to serve patients and visitors

Transportation

UMMC Shuttle

The University of Maryland Medical Center offers a shuttle service for patients and team members. The complimentary shuttle runs a continuous loop from 5:45 am to 7:15 pm Monday through Friday between the UMMC Downtown and Midtown Campuses.

• Shuttles from Midtown/Heritage Crossing, Upper Chesapeake, and Mt. Washington Pediatric will drop off at the Shock Trauma Entrance on UMMC's downtown campus.

Mass Transit

The Metro (Subway): The State Center Station, located at the Maryland State Office Complex on Preston Street, is located two blocks from the hospital.

Light Rail: The hospital is conveniently located within walking distance of the Cultural Center stop (at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall) and the Centre Street stop (near the Maryland Center for History and Culture).

Bus: The hospital is served by several bus lines: 11, 19, 27, 91. Visit mta.maryland.gov to plan your trip.
